Caddo Mounds Features High Flying in March

Programs and activities on raptors and owls take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 24 at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site in Alto. Dr. Brent Burt leads a program covering the importance of habitat diversity for maintaining a broad range of birds at Caddo Mounds. Other discussions include how individuals can better attract birds to their own yards using some of the same principles. Guests are asked to bring binoculars for onsite birding tours.
