17th Annual Palestine Old Time Music and Dulcimer Festival

Mar 22, 2018 to Mar 24, 2018
09:00 AM until 01:00 AM

This event occurs daily, every 1 day(s).

Known affectionately as “Old Pal,” the Palestine Old Time Music and Dulcimer Festival is old-timey music at its best. This is a weekend full of live music, with the guest of honor being the dulcimer.
This festival carries a laid back attitude, but in keeping with its name the music is based on the fiddle tunes that come from the Appalachian Mountains. It is a good opportunity to see many excellent musicians in one place and listen to live performances or attend some of the workshops and jam sessions.
This festival is not just for musicians, but for anyone who loves music. Concerts are planned each Friday and Saturday starting at 1:30 PM and 6:45 PM and guests are encouraged to stay and enjoy the other programming. Workshops and jam sessions begin Friday and Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. and take place throughout the day. Thursday is an arrive and set up day.  Who knows who will breakout in a song that night!
