In Search of ‘Male Intellect’? Find it in Crockett
The one-man comedy The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron? comes to the Crockett Civic Center Friday, February 19.
Presented by the Piney Woods Fine Arts Association, the show pinpoints the differences between the sexes and then celebrates them with 90 minutes of non-stop laughter. It is a multi-character comedy starring Robert Dubac playing all the roles.
This is a substitute performance for the previously announced Driving Miss Daisy, which is cancelled due to illness. Those who purchased tickets for that show can either enjoy Dubac’s performance or refund their tickets (single ticket holders only).
“The Male Intellect” has garnered good reviews from San Francisco to Toronto, Chicago to Los Angeles. The Boston Globe proclaims, "Robert Dubac is talented, entertaining and very funny!" The Denver Post and Toronto Star both gave the show its highest four-star rating.
Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 to $32 and available by phone at 936-544-4276, online at www.pwfaa.org or at the theater box office on the night of the show.
The Crockett Civic Center is located at 1100 Edmiston Drive, Crockett, Texas.
