Dust off your boots and cowboy hats, and polish up your rhinestones for this year's Blue Jeans and Bling event.

Blue Jeans and Bling is the fourth annual fundraiser benefiting Texoma Community Center's Substance Use Treatment Programs, offered in Sherman, Bonhanm, Sulphur Springs, Denison and Gainesville.

Set for Friday, May 18, 6 to 8 p.m., the event will be held at the Sherman Municipal Ballroom, 405 North Rusk Street, Sherman.

Ticket purchase includes a catered dinner by Feast on This with your choice of entrees, side dishes, and desserts. Live entertainment features the BluRock Band, a style show by Glitzy Girlz, a 50/50 Raffle, a cake walk, and silent auction items open for bids throughout the evening.

Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Adult Specialized Female Outpatient Program as well as the opening of the Adolescent Outpatient Treatment Program slated for early summer 2018.

The Texoma Community Center’s Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program provides outpatient substance use treatment services to any and all residents of Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson counties who are ready to make a positive change in their pattern of substance use.

The TCC SUD Programs provide holistic treatment to all residents, regardless of ability to pay, and upon referral from any source including self-referrals. The programs offer specialized, trauma-informed treatment services based upon each client’s unique experiences. Program goals include but are not limited to: family reunification, repairing damage caused by substance use, and establishing firm attachments to one’s community.
