Rieves’ Art Featured In Texarkana Exhibit

The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council (TRAHC) will host an art exhibit entitled “Fragments” by Texarkana native Deeann Rieves. The exhibit will begin November 14 and continue through January 25, 2014, at the TRAHC Regional Arts Center on the corner of Fourth Street and Texarkana Boulevard.

Donations Go To Travelling Replica of Vietnam Memorial Wall

Two local groups donated checks today to help offset the cost of bringing the travelling replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall to Palestine. The Cost of Freedom Tribute, which is 80 percent the size of the original Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., and contains every name on the original wall, will be on display at the Texas State Railroad’s Palestine Depot May 22-26.
