Perfect for the quick and easy getaway, a bed and breakfast offers relaxing and comfortable accommodations often in one-of-a-kind houses of yesteryear. Plus, you get breakfast!

The Upper East Side of Texas has plenty of great B&Bs to offer. Each year, in fact, County Line Magazine asks its readers and the general public to pick a winner in numerous categories, including naming the Best B&B.

The latest (2017) winner is the Clark House in Winnsboro. Filled with rich character and true Old World Charm, the Clark House Bed & Breakfast was built in 2001 in similar style and décor as the Oaklea Mansion, a historic home next door built in 1903 and now a Texas Historical Landmark. Its rooms are filled with antiques, heirlooms, and rare collections.

Clark House is located at 100 East Cedar Street. For more information, call 903.588.0465 or visit
