Celebrate the arrival of cooler weather and the fall gardening season at Blue Moon Gardens Fall Festival on Saturday, October 21. Enjoy free refreshments while wandering through the display gardens and nursery grounds. The gift shop will be full of new items for holiday shopping.
The Fiber Art Studio hosts its annual Studio Sale with several visiting fiber artists showing and selling their handcrafted work. Learn about rug hooking, felting, embroidery, weaving, fabric dyeing, hat making, and many other fun fiber arts.
Hands-on demonstrations of various gardening and crafting skills are scheduled throughout the day.

This is the best time of year to grow these healthy veggies: Brassica vegetables, also known as cole crops, include bok choy, cabbage, cauliflower, collards, broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, kale, kohlrabi, and rutabagas.

Learn how to make a cute, easy table decoration from the season’s most stylish ingredients – pumpkins and succulents. With just a few items and a little bit of time, participants can make one to take home after watching the demo.
11:30 a.m. — Decorating with Nature’s Abundance
Learn how to gather and arrange natural items from forests, roadsides, flowerbeds and vegetable gardens to create beautiful, natural centerpieces, arrangements, wreaths and swags for all seasonal decorating needs.
12:15 p.m. — Growing, Harvesting and Using Fresh Garlic
Discover secrets after successfully growing garlic for years.
12:45 p.m. — Successful Strawberries
Professional gardener Riley Hand has learned the secrets of growing an abundant strawberry crop in his backyard. He will share his tips and recipes for success.
