Tyler Museum Curator is Juror for New Texas Talent Exhibition in Dallas

Caleb Bell, Curator of Tyler Museum of Art, is the 2019 Juror for the New Texas Talent XXVI art exhibit August 3 - 30, 2019 at Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas. The opening reception for this exhibit is 5 - 8 p.m. on August 3.
New Texas Talent XXVI is a statewide juried exhibition celebration 26 years of new Texas talent. With over 700 submissions from nearly 250 artists, the 26th installment of this annual exhibition will include a variety of mediums and subject matter that is sure to intrigue every art lover.
Caleb Bell is an emerging Texas-based arts professional who actively curates for the Tyler Museum of Art. Committed to the presentation and understanding of contemporary art, his research interests are diverse but include popular culture influence and the intersection of music and visual art. Over the years, he has worked with artists in varying degrees on a multitude of exhibitions and special projects. He also has organized numerous lectures and developed an array of public programs. In addition to exhibition design and development, he specializes in communication strategy, event coordination and graphic design.
Featured artists in this exhibit include Abi Salami, Alexander Lozano, Allison Garza, Amy Werntz, Arthur Sekula, Ashley McGee, Cassandra Black, Danqing Coldwell, Eilene Carver, Elizabeth Ferran, Elizabeth Wiley, Gabrielle Pruitt, Gibson Regester, Jaclyn Blackerby, Jill Malouf, Jonas Criscoe, Karl Melton, Kelly Berry, Marcus Soriano, Nolan Mueller, Paxton Maroney, Ruth Wall, Sam Wilson, Steven Barker, Susan Kindley. Teresa Bristol, Thomas Flynn, and Todd Stevens.
Craighead Green is recognized as one of the finest contemporary art galleries throughout Texas and the Southwest, representing over 40 artists of all mediums. The Gallery focuses on contemporary paintings, archival pigment prints and sculpture in a myriad of media and styles. Craighead Green represents mid to late career artists while continuing their promotion of emerging artists. The Gallery is a participating member of the Dallas Art Dealers Association and CADD, Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas.
