TRAHC's 30th Annual Juried Exhibition Extends Call for Entries

The 30th Annual Juried Exhibition is a juried exhibition celebrating local, regional, and national artists. The competition is hosted by the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council (TRAHC), an arts council located in Texarkana, Texas.

The entry deadline is Sunday, June 10, at midnight (MST). The show goes on exhibit July 27 through August 25. A total of $3,750 in prizes will be awarded to winning artists. Only entries submitted online through will be considered. Entries are limited to a maximum of three works executed in the last two years (May 2016 through June 2018.) A maximum of two pieces of artwork per artist can be juried into the exhibit. 

There is no focus, theme, or subject for the exhibition. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, assemblages, printmaking, pastel, and mixed media artwork acceptable to enter. No photography, digital art, video, film, jewelry, installations or artwork that requires special installation or assembly will be accepted.

The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older currently residing in the U.S. All work must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. TRAHC is a family-oriented arts council and reserves the right to not display excessive nudity or offensive subject matter. 

Dates of note:

June 10 — Submission deadline
June 11-16 — Judging Phase 1
June 18 — Notifications emailed
June 18-July 7 — Receipt of shipped and hand delivered artwork
July 7 — Accepted artwork due at 3:45 p.m.
July 11-20 — Judging Phase 2
July 27 — Exhibit opens; Opening Reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; awards ceremony at 7 p.m.
August 25 — Exhibit closes
