The Unmistakable Voice of Linda Davis
Linda Davis -- a Carthage, Texas, native -- has a unique ability to interpret songs that has made her a Nashville favorite. The country music star has received numerous accolades for her music, including a Grammy Award, Country Music Association Award, TNN Music City News Award, Music City Christian Fellowship and numerous other nominations.
Davis is perhaps best known for recording a big hit with country music superstar Reba McEntire. The duet “Does He Love You” went on to become a number one hit and earned both artists several awards including a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Collaboration in 1993. Davis has also won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Album and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for the gospel album Love Remains.
Through the years, Davis has played to sold-out crowds with the likes of Garth Brooks, George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, McEntire and Kenny Rogers. In 2009, she was inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, located in Carthage.
Born November 26, 1962, Davis first sang in public on a local radio show at the age of six.
