Tony Ramey

A poet at heart, Tony Ramey began writing at the young age of ten, learned to play guitar and put his words to music when he was sixteen, and sang and wrote his way through the Master's program in English Literature at Marshall University before he took the next step and headed to Nashville. Tony is an award-winning literary scholar, a college professor, an award-winning songwriter, and is one of the most successful artists on the Texas music scene today. His repertoire of songs reaches over 1,800 in number and his songwriting career spans sixteen years as a professional.

Drawn to the soul and pureness of Tony Ramey's voice, lovers of almost any style of music enjoy the eclectic elements in his songs. While Tony still explores the story-driven Country and Country and Western motifs, Blues, R&B, and Contemporary Folk widely color his most recent body of work as well. Tony's performances are fresh, unapologetically powerful, thought-provoking experiences.

Welcome Tony back for his third appearance on our stage.
