Join Atlas Obscura and the New York Aquarium as they dive into some of the underwater world's most fascinating creatures, live.

Expert hosts Stephanie Joseph and Ethan Angelica explore the underwater world of the New York Aquarium's Ocean Wonders: Sharks! exhibit. During this one hour online experience, ticket holders get to take a look at some of the aquarium's sharks and other creature exhibits. They'll dive into the important role sharks play in the aquatic ecosystems starting in the NY Aquarium's beautiful coral reef tunnel. Discover the diversity of sharks and how their adaptations help them survive in habitats all over the world. Plunge into the depths of Hudson Canyon’s Edge as they discuss how to protect the species that call New York's waters home.

This is a Zoom experience and guests can talk directly to Stephanie and Ethan, and pick their brains for selachimorpha trivia. 

Once registered, ticket holders can access the Zoom room for this experience through their confirmation email or Eventbrite account. Atlas Obscura online experiences are recommended for attendees age 13+.

This online experience will be recorded. A temporary link to the recording is provided in a follow-up email to all ticket holders within 72 hours after the event. Access to this recording is available for seven days.
