The Russian Ballet Theatre presents their new production of Swan Lake, 7:30 p.m., March 19, 2022, at Greenville Municipal Auditorium. Pre-sale tickets are now available. Patrons will be amazed by the nuanced production of this enduring classic.

Choreographer Nadezhda Kalinina lovingly retouches the traditional Russian ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in her own vision, offering a memorable, heart-rending performance.

The production features new hand-painted sets and 150 new hand-sewn costumes designed by Sergei Novikov in the tradition of the great theatrical masters. Special effects cosmetics by award-winning makeup artist Irina Strukova complete the glittering fantasy.

"Swan Lake" is a classic story of love, betrayal, and the triumph of good over evil. The evil wizard Rothbart turns the beautiful Princess Odette into a white swan who can become human again only with an oath of faithfulness by her true love. Can the handsome Prince Siegfried saves the princess through his  determination and bravery?

RBT began five years ago to allow people around the world can experience the beauty of classical Russian ballet in their hometowns. The company includes professional dancers and artists who are passionate about upholding ballet traditions. They have performed across the US in major cities where they have received widespread critical and popular acclaim.

Tickets are $25 to $85 and available HERE. Visit www.showtimeatthegma.com for information.
