The small, but mighty, town of Winnsboro, Texas, always seems to have so many good things going on. Much of that has to do with the fact that its foundation is centered around food and art.

Several big projects are blooming wide open this spring.

Sinclair Market is a neighborhood corner store that offers freshly prepared grab-and-go meals as well as an assortment of self-serve coffees and teas. An inviting patio welcomes people to sit and visit, eat a quick bite, or have a glass of wine. Visit Sinclair Market on their Facebook page to keep up with their progress.

The Winnsboro Farmers’ Market kicks off the 2021 season in April with a new home that’s a destination all its own. Relocated next to the railroad tracks along Carnegie Street, they’ll continue to provide fresh, local produce. It features several pavilion like structures for vendors, sitting areas, and a boxcar serves as another structure. Check out this video to see more and visit www.winnsborofarmersmarket.com.

There are several new restaurants opening soon in downtown Winnsboro. Z’s Main Street Treats & Eats is featuring an old fashioned ice cream parlor, elevated casual dining, and a specialty bar. Learn more at www.zsmainstreet.com.

Cypress Creek on the Bowery is a new brewery and winery on Market Street. Visit their Facebook page, CCSA Bowery.
