About East Texas Gators

Looking for a thrill for the whole family? You don’t have to go any further than East Texas Gators and Wildlife Park in Grand Saline to find your next memorable day trip destination. The park gators range from hatchlings only seven inches long to one gator measuring more than 14 feet and weighing nearly 1,000 pounds. The park welcomes field trips and is oriented to provide a more interactive educational experience than a zoo, allowing children to touch a variety of wildlife, including ferrets, parrots, non-venomous snakes, baby alligators, lizards, a tortoise and a potbelly pig. Children also have the opportunity to interact with baby raccoons, opossums and squirrels, thanks to a rehabilitation license which allows the park to rescue and care for animals before eventually releasing them back to the wild. Although gators may be the main attraction, the park also boasts a bounce house, covered pavilions, and a grill which offers steak, salmon, chicken, shrimp, burgers, loaded baked potatoes and even gator kabobs. Open each day from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, East Texas Gators and Wildlife Park is not only an ideal place for a family or school outing, but is also available to rent for parties and gatherings. Admission for the day is $6 for adults and $5 for children ages 2-12. Senior citizens 65 and older are admitted for $5. Special party packs are available.
